How is Applying Different
Kairos assists with students who have become disengaged or are at risk
of disengaging from mainstream schooling. This can be due to a variety of reasons,
however if your young person has the desire to finish Year 12,
follow the simple process below to begin your conversation about enrolling at Kairos.
1. You will need a Referee
A Referee may be a Guidance Officer, School Counsellor, Psychologist, Principal, Deputy Principal, Youth Worker, Medical Specialist, Occupational Therapist etc, who understands the student and their educational needs.
2. Complete the Referral Form
Click the links below to download and complete the Referral Form for your preferred campus – there are sections to be completed by both the student’s parent/guardian/carer, and the Referee. Please provide as much information as possible, including relevant documents.
3. Email the Referral Form
Send the completed Referral Form and relevant documents to the email address on the form.
Kairos opens doors to education
There are no compulsory fees or levies, no compulsory school uniforms, and we run school buses to support attendance.
I walked into school and said to my Teacher Aide, I am going to give my all this year and do my absolute best. Throughout this year, I have faced many health barriers, however I put my best foot forward and gave it a shot, and I was so proud of myself for finishing all my assignments in such a quick and superior way.
Moving forward I have now been accepted to do my tertiary studies at USC and if all goes to plan, I will begin start my study of Bachelor of Nursing.
I am so grateful to have had to opportunity to come to this school. I will forever be grateful for everything I have learnt and everything I am going to take away with me.
