At Kairos Community College, we are committed to providing our students with real-world learning opportunities that extend beyond the classroom, and our recent participation in the Schools Clean Up Australia Day initiative was a fantastic example of this!
Our Year 10 students, working towards their Cert II in Volunteering, took action to clean up Golden Beach Esplanade. This practical experience not only contributes to a cleaner environment but also provides valuable skills in teamwork, problem-solving, and community engagement.
We believe that fostering a sense of civic responsibility is essential for developing well-rounded individuals. By actively participating in community initiatives, our students gain a deeper understanding of the importance of giving back. We are proud of our students’ dedication and the positive impact they’ve made, and will continue to encourage our young people to be contributors to their communities.
