Tony has taught in a variety of settings from mainstream to China to SAS schools like Kairos. He is very passionate about what we do at Kairos and believes that every student deserves an education, when they are ready. He values not just giving students an academic education, but teaching them to be contributing valued members of the community.

He is also a keen sportsman in any sport but actively enjoys AFL and cricket. He shares his passions on a daily basis and loves to have fun. He believes “our tribe is the future”.

Luke has spent his first 14 years of his teaching career in Education Queensland schools between the Sunshine Coast and Weipa, on Cape York. His roles have been split between sports coordinator, year level coordinator, community leader and pedagogy coach prior to arriving as Head of Campus at Kairos. He has always enjoyed working with students who are faced with significant challenges and coaching colleagues how to best support the learning of these students.

Luke is a highly active father of three and actively engages in triathlons and various other medium distance events. He is very energetic in his field, helping to motivate teachers to continue to improve.

Originally from a corporate background, Danielle has over 15 years’ experience in the education sector across both Catholic and independent schools in roles encompassing business services, facilities management, finance, governance, compliance and human resources. As Business Manager, she enjoys contributing to building the operational and strategic capability of Kairos.

Katy has over a decade of experience in independent schools and higher education institutions and has spent the past four years in a Campus Administration role at Kairos Caloundra before moving into the Marketing and Administration Manager position. Her responsibilities encompass a wide range of operational tasks, including student database management, communication, and event coordination. Additionally, she leads the school’s marketing and fundraising initiatives, overseeing digital marketing, public relations, and alumni engagement.

As a lifelong learner passionate about providing the best possible service to the school community, she is currently pursuing studies in Leadership and Business Management.

Katy is dedicated to advocating for marginalised voices, especially those of First Nations and LGBTQIA+ students, and is always seeking ways to create a more equitable and inclusive school culture.  

Tim arrives at Kairos with an extensive background in a range of accounting and operational management roles covering the education, health, arts and hospitality sectors. Tim is responsible for accounts payable and receivable, payroll, bank reconciliations, end-of-period accounting and financial reporting.

A fairly recent arrival to the Sunshine Coast, Tim previously worked in Wellington (NZ), before that Canberra, and before that in the UK where he originates from. Tim looks forward to getting to know and working with everyone at both campuses, supporting the work of Kairos.
