Our Team

All Caloundra campus staff are passionate about supporting students to successfully complete their secondary schooling, and enjoy presenting a diverse and inclusive range of extra-curricular activities.

More classic school activities such as Swimming, Cross Country and Athletics Carnivals are also offered, as well as Leadership and Whole School Camps. Houses are named after local fauna, and students are encouraged to participate in all activities and events at their own level.

With two buses running each day, and dedicated Youth Workers who have extensive awareness of, and connection to local support services, Kairos Caloundra is able to provide practical assistance to students and their families.

For the second year in a row, Kairos Caloundra has been awarded Fisher Education Provider of the Year Award by Andrew Wallace – LNP Federal Member for Fisher.

Now in their sixth year, the Fisher Community Awards are one of the Sunshine Coast’s most prestigious community awards programs, highlighting volunteers and achievers across the Sunshine Coast who make a difference in education, the environment, business and the community, and we are incredibly honoured to be recognised for the work we do here, and the positive impact we have in our wider community.

For reference, the Fisher electorate encompasses the towns and areas of Caloundra, Kawana, Mooloolaba, Sippy Downs, Palmwoods, Landsborough, Beerwah, Glasshouse Mountains, Mooloolah, Maleny, Montville, Peachester, Curramore, Woodford, Conondale and Kilcoy. This huge area holds so many worthy schools, colleges, early learning centres, TAFE campuses, RTOs, and more, so to win this category twice is a wonderful acknowledgement.

We are proud of this recognition, and would like to thank everybody in our school community for contributing to this achievement.

🎉 Congratulations Kairos on completing Term 1! 👏We started our end of term celebrations with a novelty Easter Egg hunt around the campus. 🐰Due to the wet weather, we changed our plans of visiting Cotton Tree and instead treated our young people to a day out at The Big Boing! 🦘We then rounded off the day with pizza for lunch and enjoyed a relaxing afternoon playing games and many rounds of handball. 🤾🍕Thank you to everyone who participated! 🎉 Year 12 Dinner and Presentation of Jerseys 💜💚It was with true regret that this year’s Year 12 Leadership Camp was unfortunately cancelled due to Cyclone Alfred and its impact on the Queensland coast. In order to provide our Year 12’s with the opportunity to make some more positive memories, it was decided to host a Year 12 Leadership dinner to add a little bit of “special” to the handing out of their year 12 jerseys. It was fantastic to see the number of students who took advantage of this opportunity to engage with staff and their tribe members at the Dicky Beach Surf Club last Wednesday evening. It was with great pleasure I had the opportunity to hand out their jerseys and share in the happiness and memories made that evening and for this I am truly thankful. I think you will agree the photos that are being shared say it best…It was a great night!!Jason Kupke (Head of Campus) See MoreSee Less

📚 Our Certificate II in Volunteering students recently participated in the Sunshine Coast Look for a Book program, an initiative supported by the Sunshine Coast Council's Community Grants. 📚This program encourages young children to develop a love for reading in an engaging and enjoyable way while exploring all the wonderful parks and playgrounds in the Sunshine Coast area. Our incredible Campus Administration Officer Jane regularly volunteers her time to support this initiative. Our Volunteering students helped by placing donated books into plastic bags along with an instruction leaflet. They also researched five local parks where the books will be distributed, contributing to their volunteer hours. A big thank you to Jane for involving our students in this wonderful program!www.facebook.com/groups/lookforabook See MoreSee Less
