Term 2’s Battle of the Grades was an absolute hit! Kairos led the charge as students and staff took to the oval for an afternoon of spirited competition, fostering camaraderie and a healthy dose of rivalry among the cohort. With participation as our guiding principle this term, students truly outdid themselves, driving participation to an all-time high and sharing countless laughs along the way. After the games, we celebrated with a barbecue and treats, prepared by our talented year 10 entrepreneurship students. Here’s to teamwork, fun, and making memories that will last a lifetime!
This term in Year 11 English, the classes have been provided opportunities to develop their understanding of Indigenous and Torres Strait Islander peoples and their culture. In this lesson, the young people had to do their own research to create an accurate timeline of significant Indigenous historical events.
